Mimi Playsuit and Jumpsuit

Meet our new pattern the Mimi jumpsuit and playsuit. It’s a bit like Deja vu seeing this jumpsuit come to life again after I first rocked it in coral jersey back in the mid-eighties whilst on holiday. This sewing pattern is named after my art teacher Mimi who encouraged me to enrol on the fashion design course. 

The Mimi jumpsuit and playsuit is comfortable to wear and they can be made from a wide range of fabrics to take you through the whole year. You’ll need a medium-weight 2 or 4-way stretch knit jersey with at least 20% stretch, medium weight silk/linen jersey for the long cool summer days. Stretch velvet or jersey wool is ideal to keep you cosy and warm in the winter.
